I have been quite quiet lately on the blog side of things. Not that anyone seem to care anyway but I've been in quite a hole and all spare energy I've tried to channel towards getting out of the hole. Anyways the upside when things go downhill really bad is that it kind of forces to really observe things and find out reasons behind things. So I've been thinking alot.
I can see that for a long time the only real rest I've taken has been when I've been too sick or injured to train. This forced rest is what I call negative rest and in a way it really doesn't do the necessary trick that resting should do. Also feeling guilty when having a rest day from training isn't good rest, so I need to get past the guilt state! Learning how to get positive rest will be an important thing for me to work on from now on.
