Night & Day

Today was again the day of the year that I once again got to witness the absolutely magnitudially gigantesquely HUGE difference between riding indoors and outdoors. For the past 6 months! I have been riding in my living room and boy does it feel like actual riding has nothing to do with it. Todays ride was also my first time on my new road bike Jamis Xenith Comp. It just feels awesome to finally have a ride that fits me. I'm a small rider and I need a small bike. In the past I've always tried to struggle on a too big a bike so no wonder I've had so many stupid injuries! But now is time for change.

The new bike also meant that I don't have a powermeter right now so I just have to ride caveman style for a couple of weeks. I just feel so naked on my bike without one after a year of watching flashing numbers in front of me. Not having the numbers is probably a good thing though for now as I have enough to worry about numbers in a stupid math test next week! Though that is more about stupid letters acting as numbers instead of numbers!

This week was really one of the busiest I've ever been. I had to spend more time at school than ever (while being a uni student) but I also had a lot of other business to take care of. I spent more time on my phone this week that I did between August 08 and March 09!!! And my inbox was way into double-digits every morning I woke up! Of course in the midst of this I got sick for a couple of days, but glad I got over it rather quickly once again!

I've also seen the real coming of spring! I fell in love not only once this week but actually thrice! and only one of those girls is the new bike! I'm going to name her V2C :D
