Growing businesses

The past 2 days were torture! I had to sit in various seminars, conferences and workshops for maybe about 16 hours mon-tue! Once again my body just doesn't like these and I got a little stress-fever out of this :C
This was all part of a new system called the global venture lab or GVL3 . It was launched yesterday at the University of Jyväskylä and it's a cooperation between universities from Finland, Indian Institute of Technology and University of California (UC Berkeley). The idea behind being to get more start-ups and growing businessess out there by merging entrepreneurs, V2Cs and students.

Pretty cool idea, but I hope this is not JUST one. These seminars could be organized a bit better though. Why not get everyone out on roadbikes and have handle-bar mounted teleconference screens through which to chat while doing something that matters. Would be a better way to spend a few beautiful spring days!

Fortunately I got plenty of new ideas for my own businessess so it wasn't all a loss!
